The 25 minute session will be a story about one student's journey building a 3D printed prosthetic hand for a 9 year old girl and the amazing community of educators, technology specialist and researchers she found along the way. Come hear Sierra Petrocelli, a 6th grade student at Monkton Central School, talk about how her interest in 3D printing and helping people and animals grew into a project beyond school walls and into the real word. It is a story about the importance of Social Media and Personal Learning Network's to authenticate and connect students learning in a real way.
