Recently, educators have been adamantly promoting STEAM-centered learning, resulting in the creation of makerspaces in schools. Unfortunately, many students struggle to see the relevancy of these tools in relation to their own interests. Building a more open-ended space seemed to be the perfect answer. Some call these constructivist spaces incubators. We simply call it ProjectSpace, a room where flux and student empowerment are the driving forces. Consider it a malleable playground for problem-solving and design-thinking.
