In this session you will learn about ways to stagger instruction speeds to reach all students in a self paced and student centered learning environment. You will be shown the most up to date applications and Google Tools. You will be shown how to create projects and incorporate Google Sites, Read and Write for Google, iMovie, and other applications. You will also explore Google Classroom, Dreambox and Google's Fluency Tutor.

Okay, it’s not really Godzilla! But imagine joining two very large entities in a tag-team match to motivate student learning! Team up Minecraft Edu with Common Core Standards and join Mike Beardsley on his quest to motivate student learners using Minecraft Edu. Mike will show you activities he created for his 4th graders in the game and how they align with the Common Core standards!

This session will look Meraki's free Mobile Device Management tool and how this can be used to manage your mobile devises. We will also look at how this tool can be used to assist with managing your online testing programs. All participants will have the opportunity to register to receive a free wireless Access Point from Meraki.

Recently, educators have been adamantly promoting STEAM-centered learning, resulting in the creation of makerspaces in schools. Unfortunately, many students struggle to see the relevancy of these tools in relation to their own interests. Building a more open-ended space seemed to be the perfect answer. Some call these constructivist spaces incubators. We simply call it ProjectSpace, a room where flux and student empowerment are the driving forces. Consider it a malleable playground for problem-solving and design-thinking.

Get a first-hand look at the fast and fluid experience of Office 365 and the new Office 365 ProPlus Student Advantage across a variety of devices, including tablets, PCs, and smartphones. Educators can personalize learning with Microsoft’s tools, addressing a variety of learning styles.
In fact, learning is interactive and engaging with Office 365. For example, students can use an online whiteboard, unavailable with other platforms, to share ideas with others. Learn how Office 365 helps teachers also prepare students for the workforce, building skills in using familiar Office tools, in ways people work today.

In this workshop we will take a look at how to organize a Hands-on Online course and look at some examples of the types of activities in which the students might participate. During this type of experience students may be involved in a wide variety of activities including but not limited to field and lab work, simulated lab experiences, forums, videos, and other experiences. This session will promote a model that can be used in multiple subject areas.

Learn how to get into classrooms more (with documentation!) by having an empty email inbox, never forgetting that important to-do you promised, keeping your office clutter free, and automating more to save precious decision-making power. Bring your favorite device so that we can get started; you may want to be able to add apps during the session.
